Children love it when their bath water smells good. Lavender and Roman Chamomile are good choices for small children. It is best to add the essential oils to some milk or liquid soap before adding to the tub. Use 1-3 total drops per bath. A soaking bath with lavender is wonderful way to relax. For baby’s bath, use just two or three drops; for Mom, use five to ten. This is a great idea for easing crankiness or promoting sleep! These essential oils are recommended for ages 3 months and up. I do not recommend using oils on baby’s before 3 months, and I also personally refrain from putting it on their skin all together. Make sure to always be aware of where you place your essential oils so that your baby can not ingest them.
